It all started on a chilly St. Patrick's Day in Wisconsin...
We met on March 17th, 2007 at Delavan’s original Waterfront bar and grill. Ryan had a headache, Jenni had Aleve and we’ve been completing each other ever since (thanks Brittany Welch and Josh Kieffer!). With our shared passion for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, serving others and traveling the world, we both knew it was meant to be. We shared our first kiss on the shores of the Grand Isle while volunteering for Katrina Relief in Louisiana. Jenni accepted Ryan’s marriage proposal on the Playa Bonita of Cozumel; so, it’s only fitting for us to be married on the coast of somewhere beautiful.
The wedding ceremony will take place on the beachfront property of Ocean Blue Golf and Beach Resort in Punta Cana on Thursday March 17th, 2011 at 4:00 PM. Pastor Bonack of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Muskego has graciously agreed to preside over our ceremony. The entire wedding party will bare foot in the sand and casual, beach attire is expected of the guests. The ceremony as well as the reception will be captured on video so we can share our special day with our family and friends who weren’t able to travel with us. If you are not able to make it in person, you’ll be there in our hearts!
A reception will follow the ceremony in the Tortuga Ballroom of the Ocean Blue Resort. We will also be having a Wisconsin reception on Saturday July 30th, 2011 at North Beach in Racine. It will be a casual, catered family BBQ on the beach from 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM so feel free to come and go as you please. We’ll have our wedding ceremony video rolling, live music, volley ball and a sand castle building contest for the kids.
